Such fun playing Cerimon in a 'blue' themed Pericles with the brilliant players of Drunk Shakespeare. The link plays from my main scene but do watch more of the play - these actors work magic. I

It's not that we are drunk, but with this group it is the chance to innovate and have creative fun with the plays.

Macbeth Act 2 Scene 2 - After the murder of Duncan - Marcia French as Macbeth and Henry Graham Murray as Lady M.

This turned out to be a very powerful piece. In rehearsal we discussed how we would play the gender swap - whether to assume male for female and vice versa or what. We didn't come up with a definite answer. In performance Marcia just became Macbeth having just murdered as she felt it out of her own emotional well-spring. I found myself reacting as out of mine. It became quite an exceptional moment.
